Collection: Serum

Serums are specifically designed to address specific skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and pigmentation. In Korean skincare and skincare in general, serums are a powerful solution that contains highly concentrated active ingredients that penetrate deep into the skin. Compared to an essence, serums typically have a higher concentration of ingredients and a thicker texture.

What is serum?

Serums can also be called ampoules or boosters and are targeted skincare products that address specific skin concerns. Serums contain higher concentrations of active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and peptides. These small molecules penetrate deep into the skin and deliver their effects quickly, often resulting in faster visible results compared to an essence.

Serum is used after an essence and before face cream, face oil or sunscreen to ensure optimal absorption. It is recommended to use serum daily, both morning and evening.

Serum should not replace face cream, as serum has smaller molecules that penetrate deeply, while face cream creates a barrier that retains moisture.

When choosing a serum, you should consider your specific skin concerns. There are serums for all skin types and needs, so choose a serum that suits your skin challenges.

How to use serum?

Cleanse and tone : Start by thoroughly cleansing your face and then apply a toner to prepare the skin.

Apply serum : Pump 2-3 drops of serum onto your fingertips.

Massage into skin : Apply serum to your face and neck and gently massage into skin using circular motions. Focus on areas of specific skin concerns.

Allow the serum to penetrate : Give the serum a moment to fully penetrate the skin.

Follow with moisturizer : Finish with a moisturizer to seal in the serum's active ingredients and provide extra moisture.
